Ragdoll kittens for sale and availability, Pinkerton Ragdolls

HI, You can call me Steph, unfortunately I have an illness called Crohns Disease and I have an ileostomy, I know those of you facing this decision feel there is no life after this but there is. The spirit within us is an amazing thing and I encourage you not to give up the fight. .I also take remicade infusions which help greatly. I have always loved cats with a passion and to the extreme, Up until the time that I got my first ragdoll cat I had always had strays My best friend after which I named my ragdoll cattery was a red domestic longhair whom shared my life for 19 years, unfortunately last sept in between hospital ( I call them spa stays like Club Emory HAHA) stays I lost the feline love of my life, you see pinky and I had been together since I was 17 yrs old. I also have several other elderly domestics that share my life, each bringing a special touch to my life, without their companionship I would have been lost.

There is a certain love and bond that "normal" people dont understand, this is how I feel about all of my pets whom have always been there with me after my surgeries and bad or lonely days when my family could not be here to comfort me. We have quite a bond!! I have also been adopted by several parrots, a few ducks & a couple of dogs. It was while doing pet therapy programs that I met my first Ragdoll, I had to have one, then two LOL. I saved and bought my first Ragdolls, After a couple of years passing and much consideration I decided to breed them when I learned my breeder was retiring. As this was a very hard moral decision to make, I try to the very best care of the animals in my posession.

I believe the Ragdoll is a valuable catpanion (not that domestics are not) I am lucky to have my days filled with taking care of the house and family, I have the luxury of being an at home mom and I get to be here to spoil your future Raggies. Socialization of kittens is extremly important to me, and I work very hard at it. I feel assured I can offer you a well rounded kitten that is lovingly raised underfoot as our cats are NEVER caged. I handle these babies from the day they are born until its time to place them in your loving arms. Each kitten is individually accessed to find their purrfect family match and kittens here are never weaned early and is allowed to mature at its own time frame, we do not push babies out of the nest for a quick buck as we dont ever want to set a kitten up to fail. A Ragdoll these days are as much fact as they are fiction, Folklore has many tales of how this breed came to be but the simple fact is that a lady from California in the late 60"s named Ann Baker (WHOM IN MY OPINION WAS VERY ECCENTRIC ) came up with this breed, Who knows if it was genius or luck that played the title role in coming up with this breed, although Ann has passed away, I would have liked to met her at least once. As I find all of the fact and fiction very interesting. After several selected generations off breedings the Ragdoll was established. Ann's first pair was said to be a a white persian and a seal Birman, while Ann is credited with the introduction of this new breed the breeders after her have built this breed up to the standards you see today.

The Ragdoll today is a large robust cat with medium to long soft velvetly fur which has been attributed to that of feling like a rabbits fur. Standard Ragdolls havve large beautiful eyes and are colorpoint cats, the Mink Ragdolls have aqua-green eyes and the sepia color Mink has green or orange eyes. Ragdolls have the ability to go limp when being picked up or held but not all display this action, Thus getting the name (limp like a Ragdoll). Altered males can get 15 to 20 pd and some even more, Altered females get about 8 to 13 pds, although there are always exceptions. I would say that our cats are moderate in vocalization and play (except kittens of course) Our adults are very laid back and at times I dont think an earthquake would wake them. Ragdolls are smart and most know their names and like to play fetch with their toys. I know the breed to be loyal, playful, compassionate and loving.

The standars colors of the Ragdoll are Seal,Chocolate, Blue and Lilac

The rarer color is the Flame which helps to produce Torties

Patterns are the Colorpoint, Mitted, Bicolor, Lynx and Torbie

Minks are rare and are making a comeback these days with a even softer fur and a dark rich body color, Minks produce all the many color combinations as stated above but with a darker richer body color,they will also produce standard kittens in the same litters. All Ragdolls are born white with the Mink babies being a darker creme color.

HELLO FROM THE FAIRY QUEEN OF PINKYVILLE : I thought potential new families and all the little munchkins out there would like to keep on what goes on in pinkyville our cattery, so I am here to bring you the news. Pinkyville is a sort of kitty fairyland somewhere betweena royal kingdom and fairyland.

Our cats should be named after royalty as they are definately treated like it. They have awesome cat furniture made by different artists with their own unique perception ,we have collected these over many years for our babies. It all ended up growing into quite a kingdom of which I am very proud.

Our babies are very precious to myself and the elves and fairies so to insure they have fewer issues settleing into a new home we like to send a HUGE gift bag home with them that has their,bed,blanket,toys,litter,food and much more, this way they are used to all the same items.
